In the world of Pokémon, there are very few Pokémon that are truly versatile whether it’s a Ditto or Zorua who can transform and mimic the moves of other Pokémon, or a Sudowoodo who can also mimic the moves of other Pokémon. However, one of the cutest and most versatile Pokémon has to be Eevee.
Eevee is a normal-type Pokémon that with the use of special stones or meeting special conditions, can evolve into one of seven other Pokémon, each a different type:
- Flareon, a fire-type
- Vaporeon, a water-type
- Glaceon, an ice-type
- Jolteon, an electric-type
- Umbreon, a dark-type
- Espeon, a psychic-type
- Leafeon, a grass-type
It seems though that with the upcoming Pokémon game release X & Y exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS later this year (October 2013), Eevee is going to get yet another evolution to add to is line-up and it’s name is Ninfia.
Ninfia first appeared in a recent issue of the Japanese magazine/comic known as CoroCoro. It’s not known at this time what “-type” Ninfia will be or what this new evolution looks like, but as more details surface, I’ll be sure to pass them along.
