A wind farm in the SimCity Closed Beta.
For those who applied to be part of the initial Beta test for the upcoming SimCity game by Electronic Arts, but didn’t make it, here comes a second chance.
A second SimCity Beta will start on February 16th, but those salivating at the second chance opportunity to preview what the game has to offer, don’t get your hopes up. The purpose behind this second Beta is mainly as a stress test for the servers, so this Beta will only last for 24 hours and will end February 17th at 9 am EST. That’s not going to give prospective players a lot time to enjoy much of the game.
To sign up for the closed beta, follow this link. All applications must be received by the Monday, February 11th deadline by 9 am EST. Please remember, that even if you applied for the initial closed Beta, it will not guarantee you a spot in the second Beta. So all I can say is good luck. If you are accepted, you will receive an email with a unique download code on Saturday, February 16th.
SimCity Limited Edition (final retail release; PC only) is set to come out March 5th, 2013 and retails for $59.99.
